The company was set up by Mr. Jaspal Singh a young entrepreneur in 1974 in collaboration with Khon Ken Store to undertake textile trading business. It started out in Ampang Street and grew at a steady pace. Its maiden turnover was RM1.2 million and as of 2001, the turnover stands at RM43 million.

Mr. Jaspal Singh, who was then a teacher saw the opportunity in the textile trade and thus decided to venture into this business. The company and its subsidiaries, which initially started of with 4 employees, now have 80 employees globally.

The company had a very simple philosophy, which is to supply good quality textile material and garments at very reasonable prices. This philosophy has been retained to date as it’s proven by the loyalty it has gained from its customers. Some of the customers have been buying from the company since it first started trading.

As the company grew, it was clear that without a worldwide network for either sourcing or selling, the growth was limited. The company then entered into an affiliation arrangement with Khon Ken Store and now has offices in Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Japan and Dubai. In 1997 the TSB Group established an office in Mumbai, India & in 2002 a representative office was also set up in Shanghai, China. With this network, the company is able to source for textile and garments at very competitive prices and is currently one of the main suppliers for most of the garment brands and manufacturers. The company is now one of the largest and prominent trading firm in Japanese and Indian textile and garments in the country.
